We know medical treatment and advice aren't limited to business hours, so, offering the same high standard of care, Dr Sharleen will be offering after hours Telehealth appointments on Monday, Friday and Sunday at both surgeries.

Dr Emma Cunningham

NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS Emma is the proud mother of two gorgeous children and enjoys spending time with her husband family and watching her 5 year old perform in her dance routines. Emma completed her training in Rural NSW, looking after the local folks of Bombala and Cooma both in the GP rooms and in the emergency setting of the hospitals. Areas of interest: - Paediatric Health - Palliative care - Preventative health - Family health - Family planning

Dr Tina Blight

NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS Tina is a Canberra local who initially trained and worked in Canberra and regional NSW, most recently Cooma. During that time Tina regularly participated in medical student and GP Registrar supervision and teaching. Tina brings diverse rural skills and adapts them to our lovely family practice. Tina loves to share her love for health care with the Doctors of the future. Tina is interested in all the different areas of general practice but also takes a special interest in women’s health, preventative health, and minor surgical procedures. In her free time Tina is an avid skier and marathon runner and an amazing mother to her two children.

Dr Tara Hillier

ONLY SEEING NEW PATIENTS FOR PREGNANCIES, YOUNG CHILDREN & BABIES. Tara completed her primary medical degree at UNDF in Perth, graduating with honours. She has been living in Townsville for the last 8 years with her husband and two children. Prior to medicine, she practised as a Registered Nurse, specialising in paediatrics. Tara has a keen passion for women’s health and family health, especially pregnancy care, where she held a Specialist role in Antenatal Clinic in Townsville prior to her move to Canberra. She also has a passion for veterans’ health and is part of the defence community herself, as well as chronic disease management and a true love of paediatric medicine. Tara has also spent a lot of time teaching GP Registrars and medical students. Tara is also qualified to do cosmetic injectables. Tara is looking forward to making Canberra her new home and exploring all the exciting things it has to offer with her family.

Dr Emma Szallasi

Emma has a special interest in paediatrics (children) and women’s health, although is happy to see all patients, and has completed additional training in children’s health. In Emma’s time away from medicine she enjoys spoiling her fur babies. Emma is taking new patients and looks forward to taking on your care.

Dr Dominique Ferguson

Dr Dominique Ferguson is a dedicated and experienced medical practitioner, having worked in Canberra and interstate, Dr Ferguson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Dr Ferguson has a Bachelor in Health Science, Medical Degree from ANU, and has completed further studies in Women’s health, paediatrics and skin cancers. She has a special interest in women’s health, kids health, preventative medicine and sports medicine, and a passion for all aspects of general practice ensuring a holistic approach to her patients wellbeing. Dr Ferguson offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages and is skilled in performing minor procedures such as IUD and Implanon insertions, toenail wedge resection, and minor skin biopsies. Outside of the clinic, Dr Ferguson is an avid runner and spends her free time trying to better her marathon PB. She is committed to enjoying and promoting an active lifestyle.

Dr Erika Peraldi

Dr. Erika Peraldi is committed to delivering holistic, patient-centered care across all ages, with a special focus on preventive health and empowering patients to make informed choices about their treatment options. She has broad experience in areas including antenatal care, paediatrics, chronic illness management, women’s health, and mental health. Dr. Peraldi graduated from Flinders University in 2001 and achieved her RACGP Fellowship in 2012. She spent the past 16 years serving the Bega Valley community, where she developed a comprehensive, compassionate approach to patient care. In addition to her clinical work, she has been a lecturer with the Australian National University and is passionate about teaching and mentoring medical students and junior doctors. As a mother of four, Dr. Peraldi loves outdoor adventures and traveling with her children. She is excited to explore everything Canberra has to offer and looks forward to joining the community at The Surgery at Manuka Terrace, where she can support her patients on their health journeys.

Dr Ann Miller

REGISTERED ACUPUNCTURIST With over 40 years of experience in general practice and a long-standing interest in integrative medicine, Dr Miller now focuses exclusively on providing acupuncture services; offering a thoughtful, holistic approach to care. Dr Miller is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as both a medical practitioner and acupuncturist. Her special interest areas include pain management, stress-related conditions, women’s health, and supporting general wellbeing through gentle, effective treatment. Ann recently moved to Canberra to spend more time with her family and offers acupuncture consultations two mornings a week, providing patients with the opportunity to benefit from her expert care in a calm, supportive setting. The Surgery in Manuka Terrace is very excited to welcome Dr Miller.

Dr Sharleen Bowes

AFTER HOURS TELEHEALTH ONLY Dr Sharleen completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne before moving to the Sunshine Coast to complete the rest of her training. She currently lives in Weipa with her family and 3 dogs where she also works at the local hospital providing General Practice and Emergency Care. Sharleen has a special interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, Chronic Disease Management and Preventative Healthcare. She works on Friday and Monday evenings 6pm to 8pm, and Sunday's 10am to 1pm AEST. There is an additional out of hours consult private fee for all patients. Level B: Standard - $130 Level C: Long - $213
